Can the Chicago Bears Be a Playoff Team?

Despite finishing with the worst record in all of football last year, there is a lot of optimism surrounding the Bears this season. Justin Fields was able to break out in the second half of the season last year, showing off his running and passing ability that led to a much-improved Bears offense. They wasted no time getting him some help by trading for star wide receiver DJ Moore which gives Fields a ‘go-to‘ wide receiver.

They also made some key additions in free agency by adding Tremaine Edwarda and T.J. Edwards to the defense. They also got some protection for Fields upfront by signing offensive linemen Nate Davis. The Bears still have a ways to go to become a Super Bowl contender. If Fields can take another step in his game as a passer in a weak NFC Conference, they could definitely be a sneaky team to watch out for in the NFC playoff hunt and be one of the most improved teams in the whole league.
