Fantasy Must Haves for YOUR 2025 Fantasy Teams
With another year of football right around the corner, it’s time for one of the biggest joys of the season to start along with it: fantasy football. Fantasy football has quickly become one of the biggest parts of the season among friends, family, and even coworkers. Today, I’d like to share my top three players that you MUST have if you want to come out on top this year.
Number 1: WR Ja'Marr Chase, Cincinnati Bengals
Everyone knows Chase is arguably the best receiver in football, along with his former teammate Justin Jefferson. While I thought about putting Jefferson here instead, I believe that Chase’s connection with Burrow creates a sizable gap over first-time starter J.J. McCarthy in Minnesota. Chase was WR1 last year in fantasy, and I expect nothing less from one of today’s greats.
Number 2: RB Kyren Williams, L.A. Rams
Another high-profile fantasy back, Williams is one of the biggest beneficiaries of a great offense in L.A. With reports of Matt Stafford dealing with a disc issue in his back, I expect Williams to get a big workload—especially at the beginning of the season. Ranked seventh among RBs in 2024, Williams, in my opinion, has the potential to finish this year as a top-three back in the league. He is a monster in short-yardage situations, making him perfect for down-and-distance and goal-line carries.
Number 3: RB Ashton Jeanty, Las Vegas Raiders
Jeanty is one of the most exciting RB prospects to enter the league in some time, joining the likes of Saquon Barkley and Bijan Robinson as one of the most high-profile draft picks of this era. Now in Las Vegas under head coach Pete Carroll, I believe that Jeanty will see a very healthy amount of touches his rookie year. While it may be too much to put on the young man’s shoulders before he plays an NFL snap, I do believe Pete Carroll views Jeanty as his next Marshawn Lynch. I see real high-end potential for him, with the sky being the limit.
