The Washington Commandeers are in somewhat of a retooling stage as they have some good pieces to work with like wide receiver Terry McLaurin but also have a lot of question marks on this team. In terms of player development, the team has signed linebacker Ferrod Gardner and released linebacker Nathan Gerry, indicating strategic roster changes. Starting quarterback, Sam Howell, is a bit of a mystery and no one really knows what he will do. Former second-overall pick Chase Young has been injury-plagued these past two seasons and it seems like no one knows if he can live up to the hype.
