Mason Rudolph to Start at QB for Injured Levis

The Tennessee Titans have struggled this season, mainly due to inconsistent quarterback play. Second-year QB Will Levis has been unable to find his rhythm, making several head-scratching mistakes. According to NFL Network Insider Tom Pelissero, Levis will miss Sunday’s game against the Buffalo Bills due to a right shoulder injury. Veteran QB Mason Rudolph will step in as the starter.

Rudolph, drafted in the third round by the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2019, played in 13 games during his four-year stint with the team, compiling a career record of 8-4-1 and passing for 3,170 yards, 19 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions. Now with the Titans, Rudolph has a chance to prove himself again, particularly with Levis failing to solidify his spot. However, Rudolph faces a tough task in his first start, going up against a strong Buffalo defense on Sunday.

It’s undoubtedly an uphill battle for both Rudolph and the Titans, but this could also be a golden opportunity for Rudolph to assert himself. If he can lead the team to an upset win, he could gain more consideration as the team's starting QB moving forward, especially with Levis struggling to claim the role.
