Nabers and Singletary Out Again for New York Giants

The New York Giants are riding high after their Week 5 road victory against the Seattle Seahawks. Big Blue managed to secure the win despite being without two key offensive players: wide receiver Malik Nabers and running back Devin Singletary.

Nabers, a rookie who has quickly gained attention across the league, is establishing himself as one of the most promising young playmakers at the wide receiver position. He missed the Seattle game due to a concussion sustained on the Giants' final offensive play against Dallas two weeks ago. While he's made progress in his recovery, the Giants have confirmed that Nabers will miss this week’s game against the Bengals as he continues to recover.

Singletary, who is dealing with a groin injury, will also be sidelined for the second consecutive game.

Despite these absences, New York's offense impressed against the Seahawks. Darius Slayton stepped up in Nabers' absence, showcasing his deep-threat ability. Rookie running back Tyrone Tracy had a breakout performance, rushing for 130 yards on just 18 carries, his best game as a pro so far. These two, along with slot receiver Wan'Dale Robinson, will need to carry the load again this week against a struggling Cincinnati defense.

Expect Tracy, in particular, to see a lot of action, as the Bengals rank among the worst teams in the league at stopping the run. If the Giants hope to reach a .500 record, they'll need this group to continue performing at a high level in place of their injured starters.
