Three Must-Start Players for NFL Week 4

Last week, I shared my three best potential fantasy football starts, and while some delivered, like Ja'Marr Chase with a standout performance, it's time for another list as we head into Week 4. Below are my three must-start players for the upcoming Sunday matchups—key names that should be locked into your fantasy lineup.

  1. Wide Receiver Jakobi Meyers, Las Vegas Raiders

Jakobi Meyers has quietly become one of the best number two wide receivers in the NFL, and with Davante Adams out this week, Meyers steps into the top role. So far, he has put together a solid start to the season with 152 yards on 14 receptions. The Raiders face the Cleveland Browns, who struggled to contain Giants rookie Malik Nabers last week, allowing him to score two touchdowns. With Gardner Minshew at quarterback, Meyers will likely see plenty of targets and should be a focal point of the passing attack, especially out of the slot. Expect a big day from Meyers in this matchup.

  1. Wide Receiver Marvin Harrison Jr., Arizona Cardinals

Marvin Harrison Jr. is an emerging star and a true route-running technician. This week, the Cardinals face the Washington Commanders, who have consistently allowed number one wide receivers to thrive. Ja'Marr Chase had a field day against them last week, and the week before, Malik Nabers also made big plays. Harrison Jr. has seen his role in the offense grow, with 8 and 11 targets in the last two weeks, respectively. Look for him to continue being the go-to playmaker for Arizona’s passing game as they take advantage of Washington’s vulnerable secondary.

  1. Running Back Najee Harris, Pittsburgh Steelers

Najee Harris, once a standout at Alabama, has had an up-and-down NFL career. However, last week was his best game of the season, rushing for 70 yards and catching five passes. This week, Harris faces a Colts defense that has struggled to stop the run, despite their performance against Chicago last week. I’m not convinced by that game, as it was more about the Bears' lackluster offense than anything else. In previous weeks, the Colts' run defense was shredded by the Packers for over 200 rushing yards and by the Texans in the season opener. Harris has consistently seen close to 20 carries per game, and with this favorable matchup, he’s a must-start in Week 4.
