DJ Moore Signs 4-Year, $110 Million Extension with Bears

The Bears locked up one of their most explosive offensive weapons on Tuesday as WR DJ Moore agreed to a four-year, $110 million extension. Moore is one of the most dynamic playmakers in the league, as reflected in his 1,300 receiving yards just a year ago. He has consistently made plays throughout his career despite not having the greatest quarterback play to support him. Since joining the NFL in 2018, Moore has accumulated over 6,500 yards and 29 touchdowns. With four 1,000-yard receiving seasons in the last five years, Moore has been a true staple of consistency since entering the league. Additionally, his availability is one of his more underrated traits. DJ hasn’t missed a game in the past three seasons, starting and playing in all 17 games.

Locking up Moore for the future, along with veteran WR Keenan Allen and rookie WR Rome Odunze, solidifies the offense around rookie QB Caleb Williams. Williams, the first overall pick, has vast potential. With an elite supporting cast around him, the Bears can build a real threat in the NFC. With optimism growing seemingly by the day in the city of Chicago, everyone should be excited for this new and vastly improved Bears squad that’s looking to make a real name for itself.
