Vikings Find New Way To Win

Well, at this point, the Vikings’ close games don't even faze me anymore as the Minnesota Vikings win another walk off game against the Giants.

Greg Joseph was able to hit a career long 61 yard field goal in order to seal the victory for the Vikings, who now improve to 12-3. Justin Jefferson was once again great with another 100 plus yard game and a big touchdown to give Minnesota the lead. However, the Giants on 4th and 2 were able to run it for a touchdown to tie it up just before the game winning field goal.

The Vikings now head over to Lambeau to play the Packers in a big Week 17 game. The Packers are back in the playoff race and need to most likely win out in order to make it. They are a much better team than they were in Week 1 and will be a tough task while the Vikings also have a lot to play for. They are trying to hold onto the 2 seed ahead of the 49ers, who have the tie breaker if the records are the same. If they were to meet up in the divisional round the Vikings would much rather play here than in San Fran.

Another main stressing point in this game will be the Vikings trying to improve their defense ahead of the playoffs when they face these great offenses. These close games won't always go our way in the playoffs and it is important to get out to fast leads and play ahead.
