Vikings Fall to 1-4, Season in Jeopardy

After what was an amazing 2022 season that resulted in 13 wins, the Minnesota Vikings haven't come close to replicating that success this year and are now on the verge of possibly selling some of key veterans at the trade deadline. The Vikings fell to the Kansas City Chiefs in a hard-fought 27-20 game, but the main storyline is around superstar Justin Jefferson. He suffered a hamstring injury in the 4th quarter and did not return. The Vikings placed him on IR which means he will miss at least the next four weeks.

With this news, it may be very possible that the Vikings will try and sell some more pieces to gather picks for next year's draft. I do believe that if they choose to do so it is the right move. This team's roster has been kind of stuck in the middle for a while and it is finally time to move on from franchise cornerstones in Kirk Cousins and Harrison Smith if they choose to do so.
