Vikings Win and Improve to 9-2
After a terrible game against the Cowboys the Vikings responded nicely with a 33-26 win over the Patriots on Thursday. The Vikings had a great day on offense as they got the ball out quickly and had solid play action passing to overcome the Patriots' pass rush. Jefferson was his usual dominant self and put up 132 yards and a touchdown.
The Vikings special teams got going as Kene returned his third kick return touchdown, and this is just his second year. The defense however, were letting the Patriots do everything they wanted for 3 quarters. In the 4th, however, they were able to clamp down and hold the Patriots off. Getting blitzes and pressure to Jones was the key to success. While it wasn’t pretty, this team was able to pull out the win.
Now they face a very solid Jets team at home and look to improve to 10-2.
