One Of the Craziest Games Ever

I was expecting a battle this past Sunday, but what I did not expect is how this game against the Buffalo Bills ended. The Vikings found themselves down in a 27-10 hole and looked all but lost. However, a big Dalvin Cook touchdown run was able to flip the game and give the Vikings some momentum. After another score, the Bills’ lead was only 27-23. Then the final drive, which included one of the greatest catches I have ever seen, happened.

A 4th and 18 conversion gave the Vikings hope. However, on a 4th and goal from the 1-yard line the qb run was stopped just short and the Bills took over. The game looked all but over, but then a mishandle on the snap led to a fumble and a Vikings touchdown.

The Bills then scored a field goal to tie it up 30-30. OT was underway and a couple of crucial third down conversions gave the Vikings a huge opportunity to win it right there. However, Buffalo stood tall and forced a field goal. The Bills once again started moving the ball and looked poised to score a touchdown. However, a Patrick Peterson interception and slide into the ground ended the game and gave the Vikings the win in overtime. Wow.
