Week 7: Vikings Improve to 6-1

Well, man, another game down and just like that the season is about halfway over. The Vikings once again came out firing, getting out to a 14-3 lead. However, the Cardinals came roaring back with a great Hopkins one-handed catch, which they would capitalize on and take the lead 17-14.

The Vikings eventually went on their own run with a touchdown and a Smith interception to give them a 28-17 lead. However, this is the Vikings, so no game comes easy and the Cardinals immediately answered making it a 28-23 game. Then a crucial muffed punt from the Cardinals gave the Vikings great field position from which they got another touchdown. Joseph did not make the extra point and the game was still a 1 score game.

The defense came up huge, making a couple stops on the last few drives and a Kyler Murray sack is how the game ended.

The Vikings now will hit the road to face a Washington team that is 4-4 and on a 2 game winning streak.
