Long Off-season Awaits

It already feels like an eternity since the last football game was played, especially for the Minnesota Vikings. With the hiring of our new head coach and general manager the staff has already started coming together. We also have free agency coming up very soon and have some important decisions such as who to cut, trade, or get in free agency. This will be a very interesting off-season that I’m excited to cover.

One interesting note is that the Panthers have called for a trade involving QB Kirk Cousins. There are many possibilities coming up, as we can just let him play out his final year, trade him, or extend him. I’m really open to all of these options and if we can get a first round pick in a deal for the quarterback than I would absolutely do it. I believe given our cap situation right now it would make the most sense and start with someone on the younger side. We will see how this situation plays out over the next few weeks.
